On 7th December, a group of 7 people, including Chen Yuan, CDUTCM-KEELE Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute, Li Yan, Deputy Secretary, and Chen Yunhui, Deputy Dean, visited Stirling College, Chengdu University to study and share experiences. Liu Yaling, Secretary of the Communist Party branch of Sterling College, Chengdu University, Yu Xi, Dean, Hao Wei, Deputy Secretary, and Wang Jue Yin, Vice Dean, participated in the exchange seminar.

At the seminar, Yu Xi made an introduction to the basic situation of Stirling College, Chengdu University school running, the enrolment process, teaching mode, student support and cultivation of students around the college's FLYOVER framework. 

After that, the two institutions carried out in-depth learning and communication on the five themes of party building, student affairs, teaching affairs, teacher training and operational management, focusing on how to carry out characteristic and effective party building, daily management of students and career guidance for further studies, protection and enhancement of the Chinese teaching team, and communication and management of the Chinese and British teams, and other specific issues.

Chen Yuan said that as non-independent legal person Sino-foreign cooperative educational institutions, the two institutions are expected to continue to maintain friendly communication, and jointly discuss the issues of improving the level of education and teaching, making practical and detailed management of students, and jointly promoting the high-quality development of Sino-foreign cooperative educational institutions.

During the visit, representatives of our institution visited Stirling College's smart classrooms, experimental operation and maintenance center cloud platform management system and other teaching & office hardware and software facilities as well as the environment, to learn from the advanced experience of Stirling College, Chengdu University to strengthen the quality of Sino-British cooperation in school running, and to contribute to the creation of a high-level platform for educating the students.
