On October 19, a delegation led by ZHENG Chuan, Vice President of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including Pauline Walsh, Vice-Chancellor of Keele University; Dr. Clare Corness-Parr, Chief Vice Dean of the CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute; CHEN Yuan, Dean of the CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute; LI Yan, Deputy Secretary, along with other relevant leaders and project managers, visited the Affiliated Fifth People's Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine/Chengdu Fifth People's Hospital for an exchange and collaboration session. ZHOU Zheng, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Chengdu Fifth People's Hospital, along with other hospital leaders, engaged in friendly exchanges and discussions with the visiting team.

At the symposium, Vice President Zheng Chuan of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine expressed gratitude to Keele University for its strong support of the CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute. He hoped that through this exchange visit to the Affiliated Fifth People's Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine/Chengdu Fifth People's Hospital, Keele University could gain a more comprehensive understanding of CDUTCM's undergraduate medical education, rehabilitation medical care, and health management systems. He also looked forward to enhancing communication and expected to initiate cooperation in medical and scientific research soon.

Professor Pauline Walsh, Vice-Chancellor of Keele University, highly praised Chengdu Fifth People's Hospital at the meeting. She expressed hope that through more exchanges and mutual visits, both sides could establish closer and more friendly cooperation in rehabilitation medicine treatment and health management.
