Educational Objectives: Through the integration of traditional Chinese medicine's "prevention-oriented" philosophy and modern health management concepts, the joint training by Chinese and British universities aims to foster students' comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor. Students will systematically grasp the concept of traditional Chinese medicine's "prevention-oriented" philosophy and acquire professional knowledge in modern health management. They will possess good moral character, health management capabilities, basic medical skills, health humanities capabilities, and research and innovation abilities. Graduates will be able to work as versatile professionals in health services and management in medical and health departments, community health service organizations, elderly care service institutions, health examination centers, health management consulting companies, as well as relevant government administrative departments.

Core courses: Introduction to public health, epidemiology and its application in improving public health, biological and environmental determinants of public health and health protection, leadership and teamwork in public health, chronic disease and comorbidity management, social medicine, health services and management for key populations and key places, health management services and marketing, health services and management skills training, etc.

Employment direction: Graduates can work in health administrative departments at various levels, hospital medical examination and health management centers, disease prevention and control centers, maternal and child health institutions, community health service organizations, and engage in health services and management. They can also find employment in social service institutions for health management, social medical insurance centers, medical insurance companies, medical associations, and various enterprises and institutions involved in health management. Students can also pursue a master's degree in related disciplines of health management both domestically and internationally.
